About Me
I have lived and worked in the South East of England for the past 35 years.
I became interested in counselling and talking therapies in the early 1990s. My initial training was Person-Centred/Rogerian. Now I use several theoretical approaches, tools, and techniques within my practice.
I have a CSCT/AEB Diploma in Counselling, achieved in 1996.
I am a qualified Supervisor and my qualification was gained from The Link Centre, East Sussex in 2019.
I have 13 years' experience of practising as a Counsellor and 8 years’ experience as a Supervisor.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have a particular interest in grief, loss and in supporting those going through difficult changes in their lives. I work for a local Hospice alongside my private work.
Endings can be sad; beginnings can be scary; I hope to work with clients to navigate these life situations and gain greater self-awareness and capability to manage their life’s ups and downs more effectively.
